The yard and fence or the house rental is in bad condition
They are very adamant about being paid, but seem to have a hard time following up with requests. I have called several times.

I am extremely unsatisfied with Darwin Homes. I just moved in and have a list of issues: water leaking in the garage, damaging my property; no hot water in the master bathroom; toilet issues in the master bathroom; the ceiling fan does not work; excessive scratches on the sliding door to the backyard; the house was filthy when I moved in.
I was charged a cleaning fee, then they told me they don't see enough reason for someone to reclean. I should get that money back, then, correct? The ice maker in the fridge does not work either. The divider on the floor is out of place.
Horrible experience. Definitely charged a lot to get in but did nothing to make the experience great.
Now I have to fill out an online request for maintenance. Really?

Mr. NiNo was a great help.
He listened with grace and understood my concerns and worries. I just cannot get a hold of the property management team to get back to my email regarding a full Soda PDF file to be done with my disputes. I had sent multiple emails about this matter and still received no valid response.
Hopefully, someone will get back to me as soon as possible to get over with it. I wish it was a smoother transaction.

Then they come to fix the toilet and ended getting a new toilet. So then we get our rent bill and they have charged me for the toilet . We knew nothing about them charging us for the toilet. I would like to get that charge of $863 taken off.
We had no knowledge of anyone saying it would cost. I have very hard time with people not giving you the full truth.
I live in fear of falling again I've tripped on the plank that was lifting I'm disabled and can't walk. Hopefully you can help!

I have been waiting 3 weeks for our shower to be fixed and nothing has happened. They don't care about their clients at all.
I would never do business with this company ever again! I have had other issues with the house that were supposed to be taken care of before we moved in, and nothing was fixed prior to us moving in.
The person assigned to our property showing expressed that all would be taken care of, and now the owner has declined all maintenance requests involving those issues. Stay away from this company at all costs.

- - Water pipe broke a week after moving in and leaked.
- - Repair authorization took nine days despite water.
- - Fixed on April 24; drywall and flooring were torn out.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I searched for Executives with Darwin Homes on LinkedIn.
I connected with several with a text message. I also found a site with email addresses for key employees and sent out emails “Looking for a Miracle” to get their attention.
I was contacted by an executive vp about 2 days later and the work was finally approved and completed within the following week. The entire issue started April 8th with work completed May 16th.
I turned the water off after 3 days because I didn't know when they would fix it. It was fixed on April 24th; however, they tore out drywall and flooring to do the repair. It has been 2 weeks, and I still have no idea when they will approve the repairs for drywall and floors. I have called every number, talked to the vendor, sent emails, and told someone from the local office they would call me.
No one is doing anything. I even sent an email to Ryan Broderick (founder of Darwin Homes).

AC has not worked right in a month
- - Four companies checked our AC but nothing was fixed.
- - The house is 85 degrees and the outside unit won't come on.
We have had 4 companys come out and check our AC and nothing has been done to fix this issue. I woke up this morning and the temp in our house was 85 degrees.
The outside unit doesnt even come on anymore and nothing has been done to resolve this issue. So yes Im upset over this whole situation.

So, regarding leaking roof.After a month a random man and his girlfriend clad in daisy dukes showed up to the house to "work on the roof."There was no phone call to alert me they're coming. They just showed up.They went on the roof.
And took some pictures and left. With no updates on when the roof leak will be fixed.Do not rent from Slum Lords Darwin Homes. I have faceless pictures of the two of them on the roof.

I have a busted ac for two weeks.
All I get is endless emails and excuses.
They do not respond promptly. I have to wait and wait for said lame emails that tell me they're going to email someone else.
There is NO ONE responsible for anything.
Additionally, if anything goes wrong with an appliance in the property they tell you it's in the lease that it is your problem to fix. The stove oven and microwave do not work.
And they will not fix that too.
I have a leak in the roof.
I reported that. No one has come to even look at it.
Yet, I pay rent on time everytime and get zero respect and zero service.

I need to speak with a supervisor. I need to speak with upper management and Directors, and possibly legal.
If you knew there was a squatter in the house, you should have told me. Bottom line! I asked how long have you known there was a squatter in the house and you refuse to answer that. Meanwhile Im relying on what youre telling me and ended up in a hotel and still here, you guys are going to pay for this, Im trying to resolve with just reimbursement of my hotel fees, If I have to get my lawyer involved it will be more causes of action up to and including fraud and misrepresentation along with mental pain and suffering.
Its cheaper to refund our hotel stay. You had a duty to disclose to me there was a squatter at first knowledge or reports of a squatter and you didnt. You intentionally sent my packet to the wrong person, as its stated directly in the packet to whom and which department it should have gone to. So someone, or alot of someones wasnt doing their job.
Id placed my application a whole month prior to you informing me there was a squatter. Id been emailing and calling and each time ignored! To this end I am demanding payment of $10,000 within seven business days! Should you decline you will be hearing from my attorney.
I will be reporting you to every government agency known for what you did to me and possibly others. Aside from being morally bankrupt apparently you have no values either! Im in this position because of you, no other reason, and I can take that to the Courts!
Seven business days, or I will be filing suits. Darwin Homes included, and each person Ive spoken with will also be sued in the professional and personal capacities.
I may even call ICE!
Let this also serve as a FOIA and open records request for: any and all information relating to the property in question, up to and including maintenance logs, police reports, repair logs, leases, police incidents reports, reports from neighbors, pest control, utility set up and establishment of service, and any and all other information relating to the rental, sale, and upkeep, of said property. Also include phone/email logs and notes, list of employees and contact information from May 2025 to present.

I am 70 my husband has a severe disease. We have been without AC for almost 4 weeks in the house. It’s 86. I’ll let you know we live in Florida and all they can say is when the estimate gets okayed

CHINESE FRONT COMPANY of some type IMO.
Police have been to a house they rent 9 Xs in 2.5 weeks. Involving guns drugs, underage drinking, party goers of up to 60-80 cars on our block.
Constantly calling. Can't get thru to Darwin homes, wait half hr then bad connection supposedly. Trash everywhere, burning the gazebo in the backyard piece by piece. They are all foul mouthed little punks all underaged of 21.
Darwin homes could care less that our formally peace safe neighborhood is now a threat to all working class families. We are pissed ![]()

Trying to make Rent payment with debit card but I cant log into the portal and pay with a card is asking me to pay with a check or money order and the money order or chick will arrive five days later so that will be too long I need to speak with a customer service representative like I did Friday they supposed to call me back today, but didnt I need some assistance
